Parthasarathy N.S. Co-founder and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) MindTree Ltd.

Parthasarathy N. S. ("Partha") is a co-founder and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MindTree. In this role, he focuses on acquiring the right talent, improving the capabilities of MindTree minds, increasing operating efficiencies, effective usage of technologies to run MindTree and providing the best environment for Project Delivery teams to service customers.

 

Partha has a rich experience and understanding of offshore development, software processes, handling distributed development and customer expectations. He has been actively involved in setting up of large end-to-end ODCs for customers.

 

Prior to this role, Partha served as the Executive Vice President of Global Delivery & Operations at MindTree. In this role he was responsible for performance of project delivery, customer satisfaction and operating efficiencies.

 

Prior to co-founding MindTree, Partha was General Manager of Wipro's Technology Solutions Division, where he led Wipro's Development Center for Lucent Technologies. He has worked on various technologies and was part of a core team which ported Unix Operating System to a RISC processor. He has worked extensively on Unix internals and device drivers.

 

In addition to his current responsibilities, Partha works with a few educational institutions in India with an aim to foster better industry-academia interactions.

 

Partha received a Masters (Honors) degree from BITS, Pilani and an M.Tech in Computer Science from IIT, Kharagpur in India.
